Camera Operator & Editor

Summary of Position 
The Senior Camera Operator and Editor will be part of the creative team and will predominately create high quality video content that meets the client’s brief. The successful candidate will be able to show a portfolio illustrating their previous experience behind the camera and in the edit suite. This is a fantastic opportunity for any individual looking to further their career as a creative member in a fast paced production environment.
The Role
• Filming at a variety of different locations, both in the UK and abroad.
• Liaising with clients on set to achieve the most from the filming day.
• Using your advanced filming and editing skills to produce high quality video.
• Taking ownership of projects throughout the entire production process, ensuring the client is happy and the film achieves its goal.
• Providing creative input into projects from pre-production through to post.
• Working with the junior members of the Creative Team to develop their skills.
• Researching new ideas and keep up to date with the latest trends.
The Person 
• 3+ years experience within a similar role.
• Proficient in FCPX and a fully competent Mac user.
• Ability to create a cohesive narrative in the edit suite.
• Fast thinking and logical, with good communication skills.
• A passion for filmmaking.
• Excellent camera operation skills and proficient with a range of cameras and equipment.
• Capable of delivering new concepts and working to tight deadlines.
• Works well as a self-shooter but also as part of a team on larger productions.
• Must be able to drive and have your own car.
• Must live within a 90 minute commute of SG15 6XP.

The Editor role will enjoy working on a variety of different projects across a wide number of subjects. Most projects are short-form promotional films, however we also handle occasional broadcast projects and longer-form films.
The successful candidate will be able to show a portfolio illustrating their previous experience in the edit suite. This is a fantastic opportunity for any individual looking to further their career as a creative team member in a fast paced production environment.
The Role
• Providing creative input into projects.
• Using your advanced editing skills to produce high quality video to deadline and to the client’s brief.
• Take ownership of projects throughout the entire post-production process, ensuring the client is happy and the film achieves its goals.
• Researching new ideas and keep up to date with the latest trends.
The Person 
• FCPX experience is important.
• Ability to turn around high quality promo films in a short timeframe, approximately two days.
• Passionate about story telling.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects including experience of motion tracking & Mocha.
• Da Vinci Resolve grading experience is a bonus.
• Ability to create a cohesive narrative in the edit suite.
• Fast thinking and logical, with good communication skills.
• Please provide a showreel, bit also example of complete films that you have edited.
• You must currently live within a 90 minute commute of SG15 6XP.
